I would have asked AI too.

IWHAAT, for short.

You asked me something I don't know. If I tried to answer anyway, I'd open an AI chat, paste in your question, and read you back whatever it said.

That makes me a meat-proxy, and a slow one. You'd be waiting on me. I'd be missing the context that's in your head. And the answer would reach you filtered through someone who understands the question no better than you do.

So skip me. Ask it yourself.

Then do the part AI can't do for you:

  1. Read the answer properly, not just the first line.
  2. Check it against what you already know.
  3. Try it, if it's something you can try.

If you're still stuck after that, come back. "I asked, it said X, but Y doesn't add up" is a question I can actually help with. That's where a human is worth something.

This isn't a brush-off. It's the fastest way to your answer.
